Lothar was an Air Force Pilot with 4th TAC FTR SQDN, 366th TAC FTR WING, 4th Air Force. While on a military mission over Laos his plane crashed. He was listed as MIA until 20 Mar 1970 when it was determined that no one could have survived the wreckage. His remains have never been located. RIP Lothar, your bravery, courage and dedication to your country will never be forgotten.

If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.
