Remembering your precious life and what a kind & loving brother you were. Thinking we could always find you sitting on the front row in church with your older brother and all the Bible verses you two had to memorize in Sunday School! Remembering your fun quick witted loving spirit filled with nothing but good & gentle intentions. You were always willing to help a friend and loved by so many.
We honored you by name with pride in our church service today.
Your 3 older brothers came back from the wars they served in but
God had a different plan for your life. While it saddens us we know that we WILL SEE YOU AGAIN. That JOY REMAINS in us!
You are dearly missed sweet brother! ( :
    Love you forever!

Dear SP4 Gary Alan Stading, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

    With respect, Sir

    Curt Carter

Thou very little was spoken about you in my years growing up, "I'm well aware, and very sure that a lot of people are very thankful for your commitment in the services!"

The Wall of Faces

Brought to you by the organization that built The Wall, the Vietnam Veterans Virtual Memorial Wall is dedicated to honoring, remembering and sharing the legacies of all those who died in the Vietnam War. Here you can go beyond the names on The Wall to see the faces, share the stories and read the remembrances posted by friends, neighbors, classmates and family members.

All of these photos will be showcased in The Education Center at The Wall on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. To learn more about the effort to collect these photos and ensure their faces will never be forgotten, visit
