Well my friend another year has passed. Another year of just memories and so much to have wished you were still here. I'm getting old now and no longer a young girl. Wish I would have listened to you, Patty told me you were in love and should not have married you know who lol. Well a nightmare evolved from that and ifelt your presence over the years, remember that fist fight you two had? Do me a favor finish it for me I'll love you always.webith have dons named Jimmy and of course they were named after you. I'll never forget how you puckered up your lips when you got mad and your laugh. So many years, until we meet again my friend rest peacefully??

You were my best friend my best man at our wedding, I never mailed that letter on time two weeks before my due date and when my son was born we named him after you, he is now married and has a son James too. He is a good man. I wanted to bring him to the wall and do the rubbing but he went with someone else. I will never forget you the laughs the fun we all had. I'm sorry what happened to all of you,you paid the ultimate price. You said to me you weren't coming back I never forgot that. God had other plans for you. Rest in peace my friend. Love you Jean

Jimmy and his brother George grew up two houses down from my family.
My younger brother George was named after Jimmy's brother. Jimmy was a great person and boy could he run fast. He was the one in school who could beat me all the time. Looking at his face brings sadness but also the joy that I was fortunate to have had him as a friend.

The Wall of Faces

Brought to you by the organization that built The Wall, the Vietnam Veterans Virtual Memorial Wall is dedicated to honoring, remembering and sharing the legacies of all those who died in the Vietnam War. Here you can go beyond the names on The Wall to see the faces, share the stories and read the remembrances posted by friends, neighbors, classmates and family members.

All of these photos will be showcased in The Education Center at The Wall on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. To learn more about the effort to collect these photos and ensure their faces will never be forgotten, visit www.buildthecenter.org.
