My brother Frank was one of your closest friends from Philly. He was in Vietnam the same time that you were, we were lucky, he came home. He has since joined you David in Heaven. May you both rest in peace that you earned so bravely and David, hug my brother for me please!

You will remain in my heart and haunt my dreams forever. Yes my life has moved on in your absence but it will never be the same.

I was your Dad's step sister and found myself in Little Flower High School freshman homeroom , sitting behind your sister Carol. My Mom, Emily had fond memories of you always being such a nice boy. I guess she's up in heaven with you now. God bless your whole family, with love, Kathleen

The Wall of Faces

Brought to you by the organization that built The Wall, the Vietnam Veterans Virtual Memorial Wall is dedicated to honoring, remembering and sharing the legacies of all those who died in the Vietnam War. Here you can go beyond the names on The Wall to see the faces, share the stories and read the remembrances posted by friends, neighbors, classmates and family members.

All of these photos will be showcased in The Education Center at The Wall on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. To learn more about the effort to collect these photos and ensure their faces will never be forgotten, visit
