This year we will be my first ride in
West Coast Thunder. 2017 almost 50 years have gone by
since you fell in Viet Nam. I did not know you Ronnie or your family. But tomorrow 5/28/2017 I will proudly ride in your honor, and I may not ever know any more about Ronnie. but I will think about him in name and duty, every time I start my bike and ride. thank you for all you give and god bless your family. Terry Whiteman
His Dog Tag was drawn and I was presented it to ride in his honor, it will be fastened to my bike and will be a permanent part thanks again God Bless ALL our American Vets

The year before Ronnie went into the Army, he and Janet decorated the exterior of my little cabin in Clayton before I got home from working the night shift at a restuarant in Concord. It happened to be July 4th---the birthday of my saddle horse, "Firecracker". I pulled my driveway and saw Ronnie, Janet and my horse under a huge Happy Birthday banner for my glden palomino! We had a typical cowboy party; campfire, food, beer---and a half bale of hay---til about 3 a.m. Ronnie was one helluva guy---and we all called him "Elvis"... Miss that boy who is forever young in our thoughts. RIP, friend.

I remember Ronnie at a friend's house. To me being only 13 at the time thinking this is the most handsome guy I'd seen. Plus, he had a presence about him. I was crushed when I heard he had got killed...

Today so many years later mostly on Memorial/Veteran's Day I remember him fondly...Thank you Ronnie for your service....
