My father was killed 2 months after I was born. We never got to meet and I'm so sorry. I love you so much. You have 4 incredible grandsons and a great grandson! We will always keep you alive in our hearts. I have made sure your grandsons knew who their grandfather was to the very best of my ability. We've all missed out on so very much. Mom has always said you were a very good man and would have been a incredible father. You're marine family has told us some great stories that have become our memories of you as well....I know I'll meet you one day and we will finally be together as a family. I love you dad.

The Wall of Faces

Brought to you by the organization that built The Wall, the Vietnam Veterans Virtual Memorial Wall is dedicated to honoring, remembering and sharing the legacies of all those who died in the Vietnam War. Here you can go beyond the names on The Wall to see the faces, share the stories and read the remembrances posted by friends, neighbors, classmates and family members.

All of these photos will be showcased in The Education Center at The Wall on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. To learn more about the effort to collect these photos and ensure their faces will never be forgotten, visit www.buildthecenter.org.
