I was 4 years old when you died. Your picture sits in my cubicle at work. You gave your life while saving others on a mission you volunteered for so your unit didn't go out shorthanded. Forever 19, forever missed.

Everybody called Leon, "Big A," he was liked by all, of his fellow soldiers, for his sense of humor. He had only a few days to go, before he was going home, but when, a volunteer was asked for, Leon went. Leon, I think of you, often, you were one hell, of a guy. Peace and love, brother

Dear SP4 Leon Henry Adams, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

    With respect, Sir

    Curt Carter
