    Dear Cpl Robert Douglas,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

*Memories Of That Terrible Day - 50 Years Ago.
In the late morning of 14 Nov 1967, our platoon was ambushed by an entrenched Viet Cong unit. A vicious firefight followed. Bob was killed in action as he unselfishly assisted another squad member under fire.

Bob, your sacrifice is not forgotten,
    Don Hase and Al Omdahl
