    Though it's been over thirty years, I've not forgotten you.
    It was so close, it could have been me, but I only lost an
    eardrum, you lost your life. You were so calm under fire,
    it helped the rest of us to stay somewhat together. I think
    of you often with pride in having spent time with you. I
    lost my watch, too.
