“I will remember Joseph Henjum Jr..  My Grandad served as a helicopter pilot for the USAF in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He primarily flew rescue missions. The first time I came to The Wall in 2007 I called him and asked if I could look up anyone for him and get a rubbing of their name. You made me my own doll house and furniture and I remember walking in on you painting it and you telling me it was a rifle holder so that you could surprise me at Christmas. So much love was built right into all of it. I treasure all my gifts, but most of all I miss my Daddy. The man who would have given me the world if he could have. May 17th, 1969, my world changed. A part of me died that day with you. Its been 42 years and the pain has lessened, there's still a whole in my heart, but I'm a stronger person because of the lessons you taught me at a very early age. Thank you Daddy. “I will remember James F. Potter.  Jim was my brother. He was the last surviving male Potter when he was drafted into the Army. Our dad had died several years befoe Jim left to serve his country. Jim, Mom and I tried to run the farm, but it was not meant to be. I received many rain soaked letters from Jim as he wrote them from inside the tents in which he slept in Viet Nam. He believe in his cause and one strong memory I have from his letters was his connection to a young Viet Nam boy who gave him a bracelet that he never took off. Jim...Mom and all of our Aunts and Uncles have now passed on. Life seems so short as we grow older. You died so young and I think of you often. I am glad you believed in what you were doing.
