They Way They Were and Are

Since The Wall was dedicated in 1982, Yellow Hat Volunteers have been sharing the legacy of the memorial and the stories of the men and women whose names are inscribed on it.

VVMF applauds the great services provided by these dedicated men and women

To join volunteers at The Wall, sign up at www.nps.gov/getinvolved/volunteer.htm. As a volunteer with the NPS, while at The Wall assisting visitors, answering questions, looking up names on The Wall, doing name rubbings, you will meet similar people, and have your own Wall stories to tell.

*Special Thanks to all the volunteers who submitted photos, and to volunteer Allen McCabe for creating this slideshow.
