    LTJG James R. Arseneault Jr. (1936-1961) was the son of Dr. and Mrs. James R. Arseneault of Worcester, MA. A graduate of St. John's Prepatory School and Notre Dame University, he had been a naval officer since his graduation from Officer's Candidate School at Newport, R.I. in September 1959. Besides his parents, he left behind two sisters: Ann F. McCarthy of Worcester, MA; and Marie B. Parent of Spencer, MA.     LTJG James R. Arseneault Jr. (1936-1961) was the son of Dr. and Mrs. James R. Arseneault of Worcester, MA. A graduate of St. John's Prepatory School and Notre Dame University, he had been a naval officer since his graduation from Officer's Candidate School at Newport, R.I. in September 1959. Besides his parents, he left behind two sisters: Ann F. McCarthy of Worcester, MA; and Marie B. Parent of Spencer, MA. Known as "Jimmy" to his family and friends, he was a champion roller skater as a teen and a high school football player. Jimmy majored in Mechanical Engineering at Notre Dame and loved math. When his younger sister Ann was born in 1944, he named her. To this day, he remains the love of the Arseneault family.

    Served as part of the U.S. Navy in Vietnam from May 25, 1959 until May 8, 1961. LTJG James R. Arseneault Jr. (1936-1961) was the son of Dr. and Mrs. James R. Arseneault of Worcester, MA. A graduate of St. John's Prepatory School and Notre Dame University, he had been a naval officer since his graduation from Officer's Candidate School at Newport, R.I. in September 1959.
