    John William Beardsley served with the Navy in Vietnam from May 8, 1969 to May 1, 1970. During this time he was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat "V". He returned to the States where he married and eventually settled with his family in Virginia. On July 10, 1986, John died as a result of Soft Tissue Sarcoma related to his exposure to Agent Orange. His family honors his committment to his country.
