Name Additions
May 7, 2008
The names of four American servicemen were inscribed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in May. Expert stone workers from Colorado-based Engrave Write made the inscriptions as well as 14 status changes from missing-in-action to killed-in-action. The number of names on the Memorial is now 58,260.
Priscilla Mason of Riverside, R.I., was on hand to witness the addition of her husband’s name (Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Raymond C. Mason) to Panel 41 E, Line 64 of the Memorial. Former Secretary of Veterans Affairs was also present.
