During the annual Memorial Day Observance at The Wall, the changes to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be commemorated.  

Keynote Address:  Dale Dye

Dale Dye is an American actor, technical advisor, radio personality, and writer. Dye is also a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer and decorated Vietnam veteran.

His company, Warriors, Inc., is the top technical advisor to Hollywood with work on Forrest GumpPlatoonSaving Private RyanTigerlandThe Thin Red Line, and HBO's Band of Brothers and The Pacific.  


Master of Ceremonies:  MG Michael J. Nardotti, Jr. (USA, Retired)

Major General Mike Nardotti (U.S. Army, Retired) is a decorated combat veteran, serving for more than 28 years on active duty as a soldier and lawyer.  His military awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart. In 2006, he was inducted into the U.S. Army Ranger Hall of Fame, a high honor accorded those specially selected from the nominees of Ranger units and associations representing each era of Ranger history.  He was The Judge Advocate General – the senior military lawyer in the Army – from 1993 to 1997.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.

Wreaths should be delivered to Vietnam Veterans Memorial kiosk by 10:00 AM on May 30th, and presenters will need to be at the kiosk by 12:00pm. If there are late arrivals, or no shows, VVMF will give slots to other respondents.
